Following their 44B models, Hirobo introduced the 4WD Zerda. The Zerda was a complete change in their chassis design with the goal of saving weight. All aluminum was replaced with plastic and the radio box completely eliminated. Also the three-part wheels were replaced by easier one-piece wheels. Instead of a body, a rollcage is now used. The Zerda became Hirobo's most successful model, ultimately winning the German Championship in 1985. |
