  One of the most unusual buggies of the day was the 4WD Yankee Electra. Yankee was a French company known for their nitro powered cars. They had a brief stint in the electric market with the Electra. The unique chassis design consisted of four hex shaped rods which served as a skeletal framework. These rods slide through the transmission housing with the battery and servos mounted on the outside. Though the kit was introduced for the serious racer, the lower quality of the kit does not compare to its competition of the day.
